Taking A Break To Get Married!

September 23, 2006 and I'm getting married!!!
I promised my wife I would wait to buy my new camera after the wedding, ohh soo patiently I've been waiting, but I'm getting real anxious. This posting is about how I took time off to get married and how I Stole this photograph from my Ansel Adams. This is the work of my idol for photographer. "theweddingphotog.com"

I hope you don't mind, Andrew.

I married Julie in Palm Springs, Ca. We worked long and hard to make this day a success.

I wish everyone could have been there to see it, wait I think everyone was there.

For our honeymoon we went on a cruise to Cabo, Mazatlan, & Puerto Vallarta. I loved being stuck on a cruise ship with her.

Nick & Erica's Engagement Shoot!

Ahhhhh! Daylight again. I photographed Nick & Erica under the bright sun which was real nice after a dim, dim, wedding in Vegas only one day earlier. So I tried something different for this shoot and shot in "sepia" then added slight color to it (below). Nick & Erica Picked it for their favorite without any influence from me. Hmmm I'll try this again.

Las Vegas Wedding

August 19, 2006

Eddie & Crystal make it official!

Okay, just when I think im getting the hang of photographing professionally I get my 1st wedding and I am the only photographer. Not only am I the only photographer but I am also in the wedding as a groomsman, and to make it a bit more exciting it was an outside at night ceremony. Despite the obstacles, this wedding was a big success for me.

Scott & Melissa's Engagement Shoot

August 13, 2006

Scott & Melissa were two fun people to photograph. They were great about getting up in a tree, into an alluminum boat, and got on a big log in the river.

My 1st professional shoot!

August 8, 2006

This was my first feel for professionalism in the photography world. Meet Eddie & Crystal, two wonderful people who allowed me to photograph their engagement shoot. Eddie had a lot of his own ideas he wanted me to shoot and very good ones and a bit of a ham I might add. Together we got these great shots. What else can a photographer ask for?
